The 2013 models are rolling out of automotive production plants and onto dealerships during this last stretch of 2012.  Among the most noted and improved of these models are the Mercedes-Benz M-Class SUV and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class.  The C300 4Matic has a new engine for the 2013 model year; a 3.5-liter V6 producing 248 horsepower and 251 lb ft of torque.

Not only does this engine have 20 horsepower improvement and a torque increase of 30 lb ft, but the MPG ratings have increased a good amount.  For the outgoing model, the C300 4Matic had an EPA rating of 17 MPG in the city and 24 MPG on the highway, while the 2013 model has an EPA rating of 20 in the city and 28 on the highway.  The best part is, the pricing for the new models rose a negligible amount.

As for the new M-Class models, for 2013 they all receive the Collision Prevention Assist which uses sensors to detect proximity to objects and prepares for emergency braking if it detects an object getting too close too quickly.
