The 2013 Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG was introduced earlier this month and is set for its official debut during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.  Mercedes released a few images of the vehicle along with details about what we can expect from the sporty car.

The new A45 AMG will be powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine providing around 370 horsepower and 300 lb ft of torque and paired to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission.  It will come standard with Mercedes’ 4WD system, sports suspension, AMG high-performance braking system and three-stage ESP with Sport Handling mode.

The A45 AMG is part of Mercedes’ compact A-Series built for speed and superior design.  AMG is the automakers performance division that will be taking Mercedes-Benz vehicles and turning them into performance machines.  It’s possible the U.S. may not get their hands on this speedster, but we will get the same specs in the CLA45 AMG which is just one of many new vehicles from Mercedes we can expect over the next few years.
