Mercedes-Benz has outdone itself with this vehicle. The Mercedes-Benz Ener-G-Force Concept Coming Soon is an awe-inspiring, huge, environmentally-friendly, all-terrain SUV that pushes the limits of design and innovation. Its designers had a projection for a 2025 Highway Patrol vehicle in mind when they designed the Ener-G-Force. According the Gorden Wagener, Director of Design at Mercedes-Benz, the Mercedes-Benz Ener-G-Force has all that it takes to be an excellent support vehicle for the police or for any other emergency services around the world. The striking and commanding presence of its front fascia makes it quite ideal for a police car. In addition, it has been designed to fair quite well on tarmac, and its gigantic wheels also guarantee that it will make a way where no way exists. It can tear across any rugged terrain without breaking a sweat.

2013-ENER-G-FORCE-CONCEPT-FUTUREMODELS-GALLERY-006-GOE-DOne of the best things about the Mercedes-Benz Ener-G-Force Concept Coming Soon is that instead being powered by a thirsty gasoline or diesel engine like most other large SUVs, it is powered by hydrogen fuel cells and four electric motors. The Ener-G-Force stores recycled water in tanks on its roof; when needed, this water is transferred to a Hydro-Tech Converter, where it is broken down to produce hydrogen for operating the fuel cells. The electricity that is produced by the hydrogen fuel cells is stored in storage units located in the side skirts of the vehicle. The four electric motors are located at each wheel, and each provides pulling power for the specific wheel to which it is attached. The output of these wheel-hub electric motors is adapted precisely to the respective terrain that the Ener-G-Force is traversing. This unique powertrain offers two awesome benefits. One is the fact that the only emission that the Mercedes-Benz Ener-G-Force puts out is water vapor. This makes it one of the most environmentally-friendly vehicles in the world. The second benefit is that the Ener-G-Force comes with very low maintenance costs. In addition, when fully charged, the Ener-G-Force can run for an awesome 500 miles.
