Performance in the 2017 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

The 2017 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coming Soon has a few different engines, depending on just how much power you like under your hood. The coupe’s lineup starts with the C300, which comes with a 241-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The C450 AMG Sport coupe comes with a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 with 362 horsepower, and the C63 and C63 S get 469 and 503 horsepower respectively from the twin-turbocharged V8 engine. With a zero-to-60 acceleration of under four seconds and a maximum speed of 180 mph, the strongest C-Class is a force to be reckoned with.

The C300 comes with the option of either rear wheel drive or all-wheel drive, while the AMG C63 is rear-wheel drive only. The car’s Dynamic Select system allows the driver to change the way the throttle, shifts, chassis, and other components act, allowing to switch between five different modes, including Sport and ECO.

Inside the 2017 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Arriving Soon

Just like the C-Class Sedan, the C-Class coupe offers a cabin full of rich materials, with great up-to-date technology. Deeply bolstered seats hug you close on tight curves, while cabin features include black leather, ash wood accents, multicolor ambient lighting, and more. A class-exclusive giant power sunroof opens up when you and your passengers need extra air, and is made with heat-rejecting tinted glass to keep the cabin from heating up too much. An optional heads-up display helps you keep your eyes on the road ahead, while several predictive and protective safety technologies help keep you safe.

In terms of design, the AMG model is 2.5 inches wider in front and 2.6 inches wider in the rear, with new front and rear fenders. The complete difference in body style gives the C-Class a more aggressive appearance—which is pushed even farther with the AMG model. Staggered-width 18-inch wheels are offered in two designs, with five additional options that include four AMG wheels and three 19-inch setups.
