Though Mercedes has been talking about the newest AMG Shooting Brake for a while, and even released some information before displaying parts of the vehicle during the Goodwood Festival of Speed, they have just officially and fully unveiled the sporty wagon.

The world has not seen a CLS 63 AMG  since the 2006 model powered by a 6.3 liter V8.  The newest incarnation is powered by twin-turbocharged 5.5 liter engine that provides 525 horsepower and paired to a 7-speed transmission.  Though the engine is smaller, technology has become more advanced and engineers are able to get more power with dual turbocharging.

The Shooting Brake is a unique mixture of a sports car and family wagon.  The sports car part of the vehicle features direct injection and air/water intercooling, a top speed of 155 MPH and a 0-62 MPH time of 4.4 seconds.  The car will also be fitted with the best in luxury and comfort accessories.
