Powering the 2015 GLA will be a four-cylinder engine with two power output options. Standard models will come with a 2.0L that’s been turbocharged to generate 208 hp and 258 pound-ft of torque. This engine option enables the crossover to sprint from zero to 60 mph in just 6.4 seconds. The engine has been mated to a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission that puts the power to the road via the front two wheels. As always, Mercedes-Benz offers a more tune and powerful option a.k.a AMG. The GLA AMG will boost power from the same 2.0L engine up to 355 hp and 332 pound-ft of torque which will give it a zero to 60 mph time of 4.8 seconds. Standard for the AMG model will be an all-wheel drive platform to match the aggressive output from the engine.
